About the Faculty
Preparing Students for a Global Legal Environment
The Faculty of Law at the International University of Alasia (IUA) is dedicated to developing competent, ethical, and adaptable legal professionals who can operate effectively in national and international legal environments. The Faculty’s English-medium academic environment combines strong theoretical foundations with practical and applied legal education, enabling students to develop the analytical, legal reasoning, communication, research, advocacy, and problem-solving skills required in today’s increasingly interconnected legal world.
The Faculty emphasizes international and comparative law, legal research, human rights, commercial law, dispute resolution, digital transformation, legal technology, and professional ethics. Students are encouraged to understand different legal systems and cultures, critically evaluate legal issues, interpret legislation and case law, and develop effective solutions to complex legal problems. The Law program provides a comprehensive pathway for students who aim to build careers in legal practice, international organizations, public institutions, corporate environments, academia, diplomacy, arbitration, and other fields related to law and justice.

Law is more than a system of rules; it is the foundation upon which justice, rights, trust, and peaceful societies are built. In a rapidly changing world shaped by globalization, technology, international relations, and new forms of social and economic interaction, the role of law and those who practice it has never been more important. At the Faculty of Law, our mission is to educate students who understand not only what the law is, but also why it matters and how it should be applied with integrity and responsibility.
Our Law program brings together strong legal foundations, practical legal education, critical thinking, comparative perspectives, and an international outlook. Students are encouraged to engage deeply with legislation, judicial decisions, legal scholarship, human rights, commercial law, international law, dispute resolution, and emerging areas of law. We aim to develop the ability to analyze complex legal problems, construct persuasive legal arguments, conduct rigorous legal research, and reach sound and principled conclusions.
We believe that an exceptional lawyer requires more than knowledge of legal rules. A true legal professional must possess intellectual curiosity, analytical discipline, effective communication, ethical judgment, cultural awareness, and a strong commitment to justice and the rule of law. Through our English-medium and internationally oriented academic environment, we seek to prepare our students not simply to enter the legal profession, but to become responsible legal professionals capable of contributing to their communities and addressing the legal challenges of an increasingly interconnected world.

Law
Developing Legal Professionals for a Global World
The Law program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, institutions, and practices that shape national and international legal systems. Students examine law from both a practical and international perspective and develop the legal knowledge, analytical abilities, and professional skills required to understand, interpret, and apply the law effectively in a rapidly changing world.
The program covers key areas such as constitutional law, civil law, criminal law, administrative law, commercial law, contract law, property law, family law, labor law, international law, human rights law, European and comparative law, maritime law, dispute resolution, arbitration, and legal ethics. Students also develop legal research, legal writing, advocacy, negotiation, critical thinking, case analysis, and problem-solving skills that can be applied across a wide range of legal and professional environments.
The Faculty places particular emphasis on combining theoretical legal education with practical legal skills. Students are encouraged to analyze legislation and judicial decisions, conduct independent legal research, construct well-reasoned legal arguments, and approach complex legal issues from multiple perspectives. Through its English-medium and internationally oriented academic environment, the program prepares graduates to work confidently within different legal systems and professional settings.
