When the student is in their country, we send them a pre-contract document from the international office.
When the student comes to TRNC, they show their document to the police at the airport and receive a temporary visa for 30 days.
Our university has to register at the immigration police and at www.icisleri.gov.ct.tr in advance.
The student fills in a form on the website after they enter TRNC with a temporary visa.
The student goes to the laboratory and gets tested.
The laboratory reports to this website that the student is clean.
The student pays the tax stated on the website to the bank.
After these procedures are completed, the immigration office sends the student's visa to our university's international office within 20 to 30 days.
The current cost of completing this process is 570 TL.
In some cases, there may be 2-3 weeks between the expiration of the 30-day temporary visa and the day the student’s visa is approved. Unless the student goes out of TRNC within this period, there won’t be any issues.
