Do you need any English language certificate in order to register? Is there any other requirement for admission?
As part of applying to Alasia university, international applicants usually must submit a score from a standardized English language test, such as the IELTS or TOEF. If they cannot offer such a documentation and the students’ native language is English, they are required to take the SAT or ACT examination and achieve a minimum score of:

Can you work while studying in the NORTH CYPRUS?

What Is the Difference Between Admission and Enrolment?
As an international student, the first step is to be assessed for admission into the University by applying to study. Once you have been granted admission and paid your fees, you will be able to enroll in your courses.
What should I do if my documents are not in English?
Documents in languages other than English must be translated into English and verified in English by an authorized translator. You need to provide Massey with both the original document in your own language, as well as the English translated version. Students and Education Agents are not permitted to translate documents.
Do You Offer Transportation from the Airport to the University?
If you have arranged to be picked up from the airport upon arrival then look out for a person holding a sign with your name on it.
If you have not made any arrival plans then you will need to make your own way to your accommodation from the airport.

Visa Applications
According to the University Regulations and the Law of Northern Cyprus, students applying to study in North Cyprus universities may need to obtain visas from their home countries.
International Students should apply for a visa from either the TRNC Representative Office or Turkish Embassy / Consulate (http://www.mfa.gov.tr) in their home country. Before applying for a visa, students are required to pay the initial tuition fee (which is specified in their Conditional Acceptance Letter) to the university bank account.
You have to include your full name and passport number when making the bank transfer payment. As soon as the payment is made, a copy of the paid tuition fee bank receipt should be forwarded to the International Office for confirmation of the Acceptance Letter to be sent to the Turkish / TRNC Representative Office / Consulate in your country.

In North Cyprus, the national language is Turkish but majority of the population also speaks English.
Does the university offer transportation?
Yes, you can find school busses within the university.

In addition to the taxi services, bus services are also offered all around the island.

Cyprus is filled with historical places. Throughout the ages, various civilizations controlled Cyprus and historical places representing their cultures can be found all around the island.
What is the social life like in North Cyprus?
You can find clubs, bars, beaches, parks and other social places all around the island. Also, there are various events arranged on a regular basis such as spring festivals, and concerts.
How can I receive my student ID card?
Instead of a student ID card, you will receive a campus card by applying to the responsible office.
How can I contact my lecturers?
The lecturers will have office hours. You can talk to them during their office hours and contact them about questions related with your lessons.
How are the courses selected?
The courses can be selected by visiting the students’ office.
