G. Nagaraju is an economist and finance academic with over three decades of experience in teaching, research, executive training, and consultancy. He spent nearly 25 years at the National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune, where he served most recently as Associate Professor until his superannuation in June 2025. His areas of expertise include macroeconomics, banking and finance, econometrics, foreign exchange markets, risk management, and central banking. He has published widely in reputed journals and books, received a Gold Medal for the Best Ph.D. Thesis, and has extensive experience in executive training for senior bankers.
