The First New Year Celebration of International Alasia University Held with Great Enthusiasm

International Alasia University marked its first New Year celebration since its establishment with an enthusiastic evening event. Held at the Alasia University Social Facilities, the event was attended by the University’s Founding Rector and Chairman of the Board of Özok Group, Mr. Hasan Özok, members of the Board of Trustees, academic staff, and a large number of students.

The opening speech of the evening was delivered by the Secretary General of International Alasia University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sadık Akyar. This was followed by speeches from Alasia University student representatives and Campus Cyprus student representatives, who shared their thoughts and feelings.

Speaking during the program, the International Executive Assistant Director, Ms. Aynur Hekimoğlu, delivered a speech celebrating both the University’s first New Year and the 47th anniversary of Özok Group. Subsequently, Assist. Prof. Dr. Aman Rassouli addressed the audience on behalf of the Rectorate.

In his speech, Özok Group General Coordinator Çağdaş Demir shared expectations and goals for the year 2026. The evening also featured a speech by Mr. Zeki Çeler, Chairman of the TDP, former Minister of Labour and Social Security of the TRNC, and Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of International Alasia University.

Delivering the final speech of the night, Founding Rector Mr. Hasan Özok evaluated the projects implemented in 2025 and provided information about the goals and projects planned for 2026.

Following the official program, the evening continued with a performance by DJ Tuner. The finale featured a concert by ZEK and His Orchestra, who created unforgettable moments for the participants. The lively event concluded with music and entertainment in a joyful atmosphere.
