International University of Alasia to Hold Its First Scholarship and Ranking Exam on August 29

International University of Alasia has officially launched its student admission process for the 2025–2026 academic year. The university’s first Scholarship and Ranking Exam in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will take place on August 29, 2025.

Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Ezgi Deniz emphasized that the university offers a student-centered and practice-based education model, distinct from traditional higher education approaches. “Our goal is not only academic success, but also raising individuals who are prepared for life,” Prof. Dr. Deniz noted, highlighting that students’ personal and social development will be a priority.

The campus of International University of Alasia has been designed to meet students’ needs in accommodation, social life, transportation, sports, culture, and the arts as a whole. With modern dormitories for 1,123 students, open-air social spaces, an amphitheater, sports facilities, 24/7 security, high-speed internet, room service, and individual transportation services, the university provides a comprehensive living environment.

Prof. Dr. Deniz stressed that the university is more than just classrooms, saying: “International University of Alasia offers students a multidimensional environment, both for education and for preparing for life.”

Fully operational in the 2025–2026 academic year, the university aims to make a difference in higher education in Cyprus with its ‘student city’ model.
