Kemal Haşim is an academic and professional specializing in management, international trade, entrepreneurship, and organizational development. He holds a PhD in Management from the University of Innsbruck, Austria, an MSc in Supply Chain and Logistics Management from the University of Warwick, England, and a BSc in International Trade and Business from Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus.
He has worked in administrative, finance, and procurement roles within various European Union–funded projects, alongside management positions in sales, marketing, and NGOs. His experience includes active involvement in EU and UN-funded initiatives, where he developed expertise in financial coordination, procurement, project management, and stakeholder engagement. He has also taught management-related courses at several universities in Cyprus on a part-time basis.
Kemal’s research explores business strategy, entrepreneurship, extreme contexts, and risk management. His work has been published in Strategic Organization, and he has presented at major international conferences, including the EGOS Colloquia. He combines strong academic knowledge with practical experience in international environments and has received multiple scholarships and awards, most recently the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship Event Fund in 2025.
