Dr. Foroutan completed her undergraduate education in English Language and Literature in 2006. In 2012, she earned her master’s degree in business administration, followed by a PhD in Business Administration in 2017; both from Eastern Mediterranean University. Her doctoral research focused on organizational behavior and human resource management.
She began her academic career in 2011 as a Research Assistant and later held various academic positions in the field of Business Administration. Over the years, she has taught a wide range of courses including Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, International Business, and Production and Operations Management. Her research has been published in international journals such as the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, International Journal of Hospitality Management, and Personnel Review. She has also contributed chapters to academic books and presented her work at international conferences. Her academic interests include workplace well-being, employee outcomes, organizational behavior, and cross-cultural management.
