Asst. Prof. Dr. Mutlu Soykurt is an academic with extensive academic and administrative experience in the field of education, specializing in English Language Teaching and Educational Curricula. After completing her undergraduate studies in the Department of English Language Teaching at the Faculty of Education, Uludağ University in 1997, she earned her master’s degree in the English Language Teaching Program at the Faculty of Education, Eastern Mediterranean University in 2003. She received her PhD in 2017 from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the Faculty of Education, Near East University.
In addition to her academic career, she has held numerous leadership and coordination positions in educational institutions and various social projects. Since the 2000s, she has served in various project coordination and management roles at Eastern Mediterranean University, and between 2016 and 2018, she served as the Director of the University of Kyrenia Foundation. As of March 2025, she has been serving as the Director of MSDS Consulting and Trade Ltd.
Throughout her academic and professional life, she has actively participated in social responsibility projects and has been a member and board member of many associations operating in the field of social services, including the Cyprus Turkish Women’s Council Association and the Near East University Social Research and Development Center.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Mutlu Soykurt is recognized for developing innovative approaches in education and for her projects in community engagement, and continues her academic career through interdisciplinary collaborations and scientific research.
